This site incorporates Project Honeypot anti-spam technology
« on: August 14, 2016, 08:47:47 am »
Project Honeypot is a crowd-sourced database of known internet spammers.  This site is linked to that database and the site's software is programmed to deny spammers in the database use of the site altogether...meaning their bots won't find it.  They can't even see it.  It isn't perfect, but it will go a long way toward keeping the site clean.  So spammers beware!  I've got the big red button to submit you to the Honeypot.

I consider spam any unsolicited promotion of anything unrelated to the topic of the site by someone who contributes nothing else.  If you contribute on-topic information here, you will be given leeway to go "off the reservation" based on your value to the community (number and quantity of on-topic posts).
